- Multiple experiences in Spinal Cord Injury including experience at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and the Palo Alto VA Medical Center.
- Sports Medicine at Stanford, treating world class Stanford varsity athletes.
- Spine at Stanford where we are able to treat patients with spinal origins of pain and do injections.
- Inpatient polytrauma at the Polytrauma unit at Palo Alto VA Medical Center, including treatment of active duty soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan.
- EMGs at three sites, Palo Alto VA, Stanford, and Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, giving us a diversity of EMG opportunities.

Curriculum
The year is divided into 7 or 8-week long blocks for a total of 7 blocks per year.
PGY-2
- PM&R Clinics at Palo Alto VA (focus on MSK)
- Polytrauma inpatient at Palo Alto VA
- Spinal cord injury at Palo Alto VA
- PM&R Clinics at Valley Medical Center (focus on TBI, SCI follow-up)
- Spinal cord injury at Valley Medical Center
- Traumatic brain injury at Valley Medical Center
PGY-3
- Sports Medicine at Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center (SMOC)
- Spine Medicine at Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center (SMOC)
- PM&R Clinics at Palo Alto VA (2-week elective time)
- Spinal cord injury at Valley Medical Center
- Inpatient consults at Valley Medical Center
- PM&R Clinics at Valley Medical Center (focus on TBI, SCI follow-up)
- Inpatient rehabilitation at St. Mary's Hospital
PGY-4
- Inpatient consults at Stanford Hospital
- Spine Medicine at Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center (SMOC)
- Consults at Palo Alto VA (2-week elective time and research time)
- Spinal cord injury at Palo Alto VA
- Polytrauma at Palo Alto VA (with outpatient clinic experiences)
- Pediatrics at Kaiser Oakland/Santa Clara, Packard Children’s Hospital, and Subacute Saratoga Hospital
- EMG at Valley Medical Center
